
Feed water-/condensate container, FWC
Since condensate contains valuable heat energy and already conditioned (softened and dosed) water, it makes sense to reintroduce it into the Jumag feed water condensate system.
All Jumag feed water /condensate containers are made from high grade stainless steel and have a wall bracket. Standard equipment includes a cleaning access hole, all required connecting manifolds as well as a lockable water level gauge and a thermometer. Water level control is in the standard version is done with a floating sensor unit or alternatively as electro-hydrostatic or capacitive level control.
We offer different vessel sizes, depending on steam output and condensate amount.
We recommend insulation of the cylinder surface and the feed water preheater as accessory. The feed water is heated to 90°C by steam introduction, pushing out most of the aggressive carbon dioxide. At the same time the costs for dosing chemicals and salting in the boiler are reduced, affecting the desalination intervals.
