The Jumag Dampferzeuger GmbH

The company was founded 1961 by Theo Jungel as an installation and service centre for steam technology products in Mannheim, Germany.

Prior to 1980, a few hundred steam systems by different manufacturers had been installed and maintained in Germany and abroad. The experience and knowledge with various steam boiler types and manufacturers gained during this time were consequently applied; the first proprietary steam generator, called “JUMA” (Jungel Mannheim) was sold in 1978.

The unique and ingenious new design of a small water room boiler, combining the advantages of a compact and low priced quick steam generator with the advantages of a robust and operationally safe large water room boiler, was patented.

Currently, the now internationally active company operating as "Jumag Dampferzeuger GmbH" in Heddesheim, near Heidelberg, manufactures and distributes its increasingly popular oil and gas-fired small water room boilers in steam pipe sizes with up to 460 kg/h as individual and with 1840kg/h as multi-system. Our Partner Stritzel Dampftechnik will be able to provide you with electrically operated steam generators.

The delivery scope contains all equipment required for a boiler room; e.g. feed water and blow tanks, water conditioning in single or multi-design, stainless steel chimneys and heat exchangers for heating purposes and various steam pipe accessories.

To prevent mistakes and to enable fast turnaround of customer requirements, the development, order processing, manufacturing, shipping and service functions were grouped under one roof.

Our customer service is performed with a fleet of vehicles and national and international maintenance offices. Due to the design structure of our steam generators, maintenance can be performed by local furnace and heating installers, as this is practice in many locations.
